UniFi Solutions

UniFi Access

Door entry that shares a controller with your network and cameras. Badge events and video line up without an integration project, and revoking a leaver takes one action instead of four.

One System for Doors, Cameras, and Network

Access control is usually bought separately from surveillance, then stitched together badly. Running UniFi Access on the same console as Protect means an access event and the footage of it are already correlated, and administration happens in one place.

  • -Door events automatically paired with the corresponding camera clip
  • -Single administrator interface across access, video, and network
  • -Shared user directory so one identity governs badge and network access
  • -No middleware layer to license, patch, or troubleshoot

Readers, Credentials, and Door Hardware

We specify and install the physical side properly: reader choice, credential type, lock hardware, request-to-exit, and the fail-safe or fail-secure behaviour each door needs. Fire egress and building code requirements are settled before installation, not after inspection.

  • -Reader selection across NFC, Bluetooth, mobile, and card credentials
  • -Electric strike, maglock, and mortise hardware specified per door
  • -Fail-safe and fail-secure behaviour chosen per door for egress compliance
  • -Request-to-exit, door position sensing, and tamper monitoring

Joiners, Movers, and Leavers

The value of access control shows up in offboarding. We set up schedules, groups, and policies so access reflects role rather than accumulating over time, and so a departure is a single revocation.

  • -Group and schedule design mapped to roles, shifts, and contractor windows
  • -Temporary and visitor credentials with automatic expiry
  • -Audit trail suitable for incident review and compliance evidence
  • -Emergency unlock and lockdown procedures documented and tested

Retrofit and Phased Rollout

Most sites are not starting from nothing. We assess the doors and cabling you already have, reuse what is sound, and phase the rollout so the building keeps functioning while the changeover happens.

  • -Survey of existing door hardware, cabling, and controller position
  • -Perimeter-first sequencing so the highest-risk doors are covered earliest
  • -Parallel running with the outgoing system during cutover
  • -Handover training for reception and facilities staff
